In Kenya there needs to be a conversation about reforming our morals, campaign election processes to be more equitable for the average person to stand, and the government needs to create real opportunities for the people so they can afford to live. Elected officials should not have to run on what they did for the populace. The government should automatically take care of the people. Also Kenya needs more leaders with true integrity and selflessness. That is the only way Kenya will change. But of course the MPs know the plight of the citizens but most dont care. They are selfish sellouts

Democracy has a price

The only option left to safe face and pre-empt further damages is for Ruto to either delay for sometime to calm down the situation or withdraw the finance bill and return it back to give the young people and all other concerned groups like KMA and others including the clergy to give further input on the current finance bill. But if he has a better option, our president and key advisors can come up with the best option devoid of intimidating the GenZ.
